German leisure vehicles remain popular abroad
New export record for motor caravans from Germany. Caravan exports fall back to pre-pandemic levels at around 23,500 units
- Following the replenishment of European stocks, caravan exports from Germany normalise and fall back to a prepandemic level of around 23,500 units
- The largest caravan markets are resilient in terms of exports and are losing less than proportionately: UK, France and the Netherlands gain around 7 per cent market share in terms of export volume
- France is the only country with growth
- Countries with a high external financing ratio are clearly recognisable: exports to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland and South Korea are down by between 40 and 60 per cent
- New export record for motor caravans from Germany; with an increase of 10 per cent, around 40,000 units are exported
- International dealers can be served again thanks to improved chassis availability and a significant increase in production
- Scandinavian markets remain a problem child and continue to develop negatively
- Decline in exports to Austria can be explained by the extremely strong exports in previous years and a return to average levels
