With a total of over 81,000 new registrations so far this year, the German caravanning market remains at a high level.

At 1,638 units, new caravan registrations in September were 6.3 per cent down on the same month last year. With a total of 18,339 new registrations in the first three quarters of the year, the segment recorded a slight decline of 2.2 per cent compared to 2023.

New motor caravan registrations, on the other hand, continued to develop positively: with 4,679 new registrations (+6.0 per cent), the segment also exceeded the previous year’s result in September. Overall, new motor caravan registrations in the period from January to September remained well above the pre-corona level with 63,046 units and an increase of almost 10 per cent.
